Matt Coakley
Songwriter • Producer • Arranger • Educator
Philly-based artist dedicated to making beautiful sounds and sharing them and helping others make beautiful sounds until the world filled with beautiful sounds.
Background
After earning my B.S. in Recording Arts from Drexel University, I began a career in music composition, production, and education. I spent six years in Chicago, working as a recording engineer, private school teacher, and freelancer, composing and arranging for two developing musicals while running lessons and recording sessions from my home studio. It’s been a fulfilling and rewarding journey.
My Music
I’ve been performing, composing, recording and arranging for bands since 2009.
In 2023, I released my first single as a solo artist, and I’ve released a few EPs/singles over the past couple years.
My debut album, There I Was, is coming November 20.
